These eight old prints reissue, to be accumulated like a cabinet of curiosities, are fine art prints on cotton canvas presented in a beautiful box handmade in a Parisian workshop. The illustrations come from an old book “The Natural History of Carolina, Florida, and the Bahama Islands, containing the figures of birds, beasts, fishes… and plants… with their descriptions in English and French” by the late Mark Catesby. Date of edition: 1754.

The illustrated works from which they originate are now kept at the Bibliothèque de l’Arsenal, a branch of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
