Our story has only just begun!
Slow down, learn to observe again & share
Parents and professionals seem to be at the end of their tether! Children spend too much time in front of a computer and are inundated with information, whether it’s interesting or not. They are over-stimulated, hypnotised by the television and obsessed with the next gaming session on the family tablet, And where have the traditional educational wall charts gone? And when they do exist, people really don’t want to hang them in the middle of the living room or the office…
Embracing the trend for slow living, the desire to go back to real life and share knowledge together can be seen pretty much everywhere. That’s where Les Jolies Planches comes in.
Disconnecting to go back to more concrete values.
Endlessly inspired by her two children (Jules, 9, and Leopoldine, 3), her group of friends and the many professionals she has met, Isabelle Diacono, the founder of Les Jolies Planches, observes that physical materials for imparting information have either disappeared completely, lack educational content or are unattractive.
With 20 years’ experience working in large Media & Telecoms groups and as an expert in digital innovation and transformation, in 2017 she decided to leave the management committee she worked for and a successful career to begin her entrepreneurial journey with Les Jolies Planches. She wanted to leave the virtual world behind to go back to more concrete values!
Then she just had to bring to life her desire to combine knowledge and aesthetics, while highlighting French skill, and lead a community of illustrators, graphic designers, printers, stationers, etc.
And so Les Jolies Planches came into being. Make sure you stay posted…
